The LIFE Spring Women’s Conference, held by Cornerstone Bartlesville and the Oklahoma State Chapter of the Conservative Baptist Network on March 7, 2026, brought women together from across Oklahoma for a meaningful day of worship, teaching, and fellowship. From the moment attendees arrived for check-in and breakfast, there was a sense of anticipation and warmth that carried throughout the entire day. Thanks to organizers Brandi Biesiadecki, Darah Smith, and the church’s women’s ministry team, women enjoyed a day that modeled the beauty of biblical hospitality and fostered intentional connection with Christ through the Word of God.
The conference opened with a powerful time of worship led by Ansley Macias and a worship band, preparing hearts for the morning session. Sharayah Colter delivered the first message, “Life in the Word,” encouraging women to root their lives deeply in Scripture and to find renewal and direction through God’s truth. She emphasized the importance of spending time in God’s Word each day, reminding women that there is no way for the truth and power of God’s Word to transform a person’s life without reading it and internalizing it. You cannot draw upon what you have not poured in, she said. Colter’s Scripture-centric teaching set a biblical foundation that resonated throughout the rest of the event.
Attendees then had the opportunity to participate in three breakout sessions, allowing them to engage more personally with topics relevant to their daily walk. Sessions included “Life in Evangelism” with Gina Rogers, “Life on Your Lips” with Andrea Holland, and “Life with Your Fears” with Ansley Macias. From Rogers’ engaging story of how she and her husband came to salvation in Christ and her practical advice on reaching people with the gospel, to Holland’s applicable reminders to guard the tongue and use it for building up rather than tearing down, to Macias’ timely message on fighting anxiety with the truth of Scripture, each breakout session provided practical insight, encouragement, and space for reflection, equipping women to live out their faith with boldness and clarity.
After a time of fellowship over lunch, the afternoon session brought everyone back together for more worship and a second message from Colter titled “Eternal Life & Evangelism.” This session challenged attendees to live with an eternal perspective and to share the hope of the gospel with urgency and compassion. Colter also shared about an evangelism initiative she began in 2018 called The Greatest News which has a singular goal of taking the gospel to as many people as possible. She demonstrated the way modern technology is being used to present the gospel through an online presence at thegreatestnews.org and distributed The Greatest News gospel tracts to everyone in attendance as well, explaining how she has used the tracts to point people to the Greatest News website where they can find a full gospel explanation at their own pace in times when a longer, face-to-face discussion is not possible. She also shared about taking the gospel to children through a series of books called The Greatest News for Children which pairs brightly colored illustrations with the words of Scripture so that children can begin, even from a very young age, to “hide God’s Word in their hearts” (Psalm 119:11).
The day concluded with a spirit of gratitude and encouragement, as many women left feeling refreshed, strengthened, and inspired. The conference not only fostered deeper relationships among attendees but also pointed each woman back to Christ as the source of true life and purpose.
“This was our first year as a church to extend our women’s conferences to conservative churches in our Oklahoma network as a unified effort, and we had a great response!” said Brandi Biesiadecki, women’s ministry advisor at Cornerstone Church in Bartlesville, Okla. “I believe women need and want meaningful, spirit-filled, sound, biblical teaching. That is my desire, and it is such a privilege to serve the Lord and Oklahoma women in this capacity.”
“Our desire is to build up Oklahoma women through the power of the Word but also to the network of pastor’s wives,” Biesiadecki added. “Our upcoming CBNOK Annual Meeting will include a session just for pastor’s wives. If their hearts are faint, it is even harder for pastors to serve the people. This year’s event will be targeted to encourage them and build relationships with other pastor’s wives.”
Darah Smith, who serves on the church’s women’s ministry council alongside Biesiadecki, agreed and said she counts it a blessing to be a part of the women’s ministry team at Cornerstone.
“It is so rare to find a church with such a solid women’s ministry,” Smith said. “Whether it is food prepping, decorating, teaching, or putting out the name tags, our team meets to pray that God be glorified through each step. The feedback from the ladies this year was amazing! Our conference brings deep and convicting teaching that meet each woman wherever they are in their walk with the Lord. It is also a blessing to know that evangelism is at the core of every event. Our women are encouraged to bring a friend that does not know the Lord, and there is always an opportunity to respond to the gospel. I look forward to the years ahead, joining forces with other conservative Baptist churches for God’s glory.”
Overall, the LIFE Spring Women’s Conference was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, biblical truth, and living a life centered on faith in Jesus Christ who has come that people may “have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
